Auditorium Maximum is the newest complex of lecture halls of the Jagiellonian University, which is located in the center of Cracow, within walking distance from the Market Square.
How to reach it arriving from:
- John Paul II Airport Cracow Balice (located 11 km west from the center):
- by train to the central Cracow Glowny station, then tram n. 4 or 13 to the Bagatela
- by public bus n. 192 to Cracovia Hotel – about 30 minutes
- by taxi 9191 (the offical partner of the Cracow airport) – about 30 minutes
- the central Cracow Glowny station
- by tram n. 04 or 13 to the Bagatela Theatre (direction Bronowice Nowe), about 8 minutes
- walking, about 20 minutes
- the highway A4 - direction Krakow Północ: at the first roundabout in the city take right, then straight till the main road ends; go straight on the narrower street and turn right at the second crossroad.
How to get to Cracow
By car
The main highways are:
No A4 – West state border – Wroclaw – Katowice – Chrzanów – Cracow (from Berlin and Dresden)
No 7 - South state border - Chyżne – Cracow (from Vienna and Bratislava)
No 8 - South-west state border - Kudowa Zdrój – Wrocław – Cracow (from Prague)
By train
Central Cracow Glowny station is situated in the very city center, close to the Old Town historic district. Daily express trains arrive from Berlin, Dresden, Frankfurt/M, Frankfurt/O, Leipzig, Vienna, Prague, Budapest, Bucarest, Bratislava, Kiev, Lvov and Odessa. The shuttle express service to and from Warszawa, departing every hour takes two hours and half.
By plane
The International Airport Cracow Balice (located 11 km west from the center) offers many convenient direct airline connections with major destinations in Europe and the USA , such as: Amsterdam, Athens, Berlin, Budapest, Brussels, Chicago, Cologne/Bonn, Copenhagen, Dortmund, Dublin, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Lisbon, London, Milan, Munich, New York, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Tel Aviv, Vienna, and Warszawa.
