The International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" is southeast located and at about 30 Km from the city center (Ph. +30 210-353 0000 - www.athensairport-2001.gr)

Transportation from the Airport to the Hilton Athens Hotel (Meeting Venue) or the city center:

  • Subway - transfer by subway would take about 40 minutes.
The cheapest and fastest way to reach Hilton Hotel is by subway METRO LINE 3 (just open after an interruption of 7 months due to construction works) going to Monastiraki station (city center); make sure to get off  at "EVANGELISMOS" station: Hilton is about 200 meters backwards.
  • Taxi, approximately 30 minutes with an average daily cost of euro 35 plus a couple of euros for luggage. The regular taxi line is outside the Airport at the Arrivals Level. Do not take taxis from touts at the airport - get one from the official taxi rank. Make sure the meter is on 1 in the daytime; it *must* be running when they start off. If there is an argument over the price you settle it at your hotel in the presence of the concierge.
Please keep with you these alternative Radio taxi numbers that can be useful during your stay in Athens:
    Ikaros: Tel. +30 210-515 2800
